We've had an amazing journey so far in our Book Club. God placed a dream in Sis. Lynne's heart to start an outreach that would both encourage those ladies already in church and be an opportunity for outreach to ladies who have yet to accept the Lord. Lisa became a partner in setting things up and before we knew it we'd started an adventure that has brought about godly change and opened us up to a different format. The first season of books was varied in styles but all had a message of the way of forgiveness. I can't wait to see what God has in store for us as we go forward.
The current read is Blue Heart Blessed (When jilted bride Daisy opens a secondhand wedding dress boutique, she hopes she can at least give the gowns a second chance at love. She befriends a retired priest who blesses the blue satin hearts she sews into each garment. Then one day she meets his son---and wonders if her own dress might still fit! 300 pages, softcover from Harvest.)
